This role requires deep expertise in designing high‑performance data models, delivering initial configuration, and implementing best‑practice architectures for large‑scale reporting needs. The consultant will design and develop SAP BW on HANA data models—including data stores, calculation views, and table functions—while conducting rigorous testing to optimize system performance. The role also includes developing and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, and providing scalable solutions for terabyte‑level data volumes. The consultant will leverage CDS views for data analysis and extraction, apply best practices for BW/4HANA implementations, and work closely with business and technical teams to ensure robust solution delivery.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and develop SAP BW on HANA data models, including data stores, calculation views, table functions, and related modeling components</li> <li>Drive and own initial configuration and model development, from simple to highly complex solutions</li> <li>Conduct rigorous system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization</li> <li>Develop and maintain technical documentation for solution support and knowledge transfer</li> <li>Provide scalable solutions for large data volumes (terabytes) and complex enterprise reporting needs</li> <li>Utilize CDS views for data analysis and data extraction</li> <li>Apply BW/4HANA best practices across implementation, configuration, performance, and usage</li> <li>Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4 years SAP BW/BW/4HANA experience</li> <li>Strong experience with BW/4HANA modeling, performance tuning, and large‑scale data systems</li> <li>Hands‑on experience creating calculation views, table functions, ADSOs, and related BW/HANA objects</li> <li>Experience with CDS views and data extraction patterns</li> <li>Strong documentation, testing, and analytical skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience integrating BW/4HANA with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)</li> <li>Experience working with non‑SAP application data sources</li> </ul> <p><strong>Eligibility requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizens)</li> <li>Ability to obtain a government clearance</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
