German + English Customer Care Specialist (Remote - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croa

About this role

We’re growing and hiring German + English-speaking Customer Care Specialists to join a dedicated support team for an established digital electricity supplier. For nearly a decade, this company has been helping households across Europe use energy more smartly, with 100% renewable electricity at dynamic market prices, a real-time consumption app, and smart home integrations such as EV chargers, heating systems and solar.
If you’re naturally curious, enjoy digging into a problem until you find the root cause, and have a way with words that lets you adapt your tone to every customer, you’ll fit right into the team.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver thoughtful, user-friendly support to German-speaking customers via written communication channels (email and live chat)

• Help customers with subscriptions and contracts, invoices and consumption explanations and app troubleshooting

• Work across several tools at once, including a ticketing system (Zendesk), internal backend and knowledge base

• Maintain accurate, helpful records and flag recurring issues to the wider team

What Makes You a Fantastic Fit

• Excellent German skills (C1 level)

• Good English skills (B1 or higher), used mostly for internal communication

• Previous experience in customer support

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Empathetic communicator who can put themselves in others’ shoes and explain things clearly

Nice to Have

• Experience in the energy sector or with tech clients

• Familiarity with customer support tools such as Zendesk

• Previous invoicing experience
