Rural Staffing Services partners with rural hospitals, clinics, public hospital districts, and community healthcare organizations throughout Washington to identify experienced leaders in quality, compliance, risk, patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory readiness.

What You May Lead

Preparing reports and recommendations for executive leadership and governing boards

Tracking improvement plans and helping departments sustain progress

Supporting grievance, complaint, incident, and event-review processes

Helping the organization respond to changing regulations and standards

Building systems that are practical, consistent, and understandable for employees

What You Will Bring
Qualifications will vary by opportunity, but organizations may seek:

Progressive experience in healthcare quality, compliance, risk, patient safety, infection prevention, or regulatory affairs

Previous leadership experience as a director, manager, officer, supervisor, or comparable professional

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, quality improvement, and risk-management practices

Experience with audits, investigations, corrective action plans, or survey readiness

Strong analytical, communication, education, and problem-solving skills

The ability to work collaboratively across clinical and operational departments

Experience with rural hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, FQHCs, public hospital districts, long-term care, or community healthcare organizations

Relevant education, licensure, or certification based on the position

A practical, fair, and relationship-focused leadership style

Some opportunities may require or prefer credentials such as CPHQ, CHC, CHPC, CPPS, CIC, ARM, RN, or another quality, compliance, risk, privacy, safety, or clinical credential. Requirements will depend on the specific position.
