The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend development, cloud-native architectures, and scalable distributed systems.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This role requires strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Python, Elixir, and AWS. The candidate will play a key role in designing technical solutions, driving architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications and services.</li> <li>Lead the architecture and implementation of backend systems and cloud-native solutions.</li> <li>Build and optimize distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architectures.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.</li> <li>Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices.</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.</li> <li>Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions.</li> <li>Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.</li> <li>Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.</li> <li>Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvements.</li> </ul> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>6–9 years of professional software engineering experience.</li> <li>Strong expertise in TypeScript and backend application development.</li> <li>Advanced programming experience with Python.</li> <li>Hands-on experience building applications using Elixir.</li> <li>Strong experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, or similar.</li> <li>Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.</li> <li>Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.</li> <li>Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.</li> <li>Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of software design patterns and system architecture principles.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Proactive mindset with strong ownership and leadership capabilities.</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.</li> <li>Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.</li> <li>Experience working in highly available and large-scale production environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.</li> <li>Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Posted On: May 21, 2026</p> <p>At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.</p>
