Join our Customer Onboarding team, where we partner with hospitals and health systems to implement technology that improves patient flow, optimizes capacity, and helps patients get the right care at the right time.
As a Senior Program Manager supporting Inpatient Flow, you will own healthcare technology implementations from pre-kickoff through go-live, serving as the primary driver of the project plan and day-to-day execution. You will bring together customer and LeanTaaS teams to manage the many interconnected pieces of a successful implementation—from discovery and technical readiness to workflow alignment, testing, training, go-live preparation, and launch.
You will build and manage detailed project plans, drive customer meetings and decisions, coordinate clinical and technical workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure teams remain aligned and accountable to their commitments. You’ll anticipate what could impact the implementation, create clear paths to resolution, and keep customers and internal stakeholders informed and moving forward.
Our implementations range from individual hospitals to complex, enterprise-wide deployments spanning multiple workflows, facilities, and stakeholder groups. You will partner closely with Clinical Workflow Implementation Managers, Product Implementation, Data Engineering, Customer Success and customer teams to bring structure and accountability to each engagement and ensure customers are prepared for a successful go-live.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead Customer Implementations
• Own and lead a portfolio of complex Inpatient Flow implementations from kickoff through go-live and transition to Customer Success
• Build, maintain, and execute detailed implementation plans, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources, decisions, and timelines
• Lead implementations that span multiple workflows in multiple hospitals across a health system
• Run customer and internal implementation meetings, establish clear action items and owners, and drive accountability for commitments across customer and LeanTaaS teams
• Coordinate discovery, technical implementation, workflow design, training, testing, readiness, and go-live activities across all implementation workstreams
• Maintain implementation momentum by proactively following up on deliverables, resolving blockers, and ensuring decisions are made when needed
• Drive high-quality implementations by ensuring consistent execution against established standards, proactively identifying gaps, and maintaining a high bar for customer experience and delivery excellence
• Coordinate and participate in onsite meetings and activities
Manage Risk, Dependencies & Escalations
• Continuously assess implementation health and proactively identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and decisions that could impact delivery
• Develop and drive mitigation plans before risks become implementation delays or customer escalations
• Identify and escalate issues requiring additional leadership, product, technical, or clinical support and ensure they remain actively managed through resolution
• Manage changes to implementation scope and timelines, clearly communicating impacts and establishing alignment on the path forward
• Maintain clear documentation of decisions, risks, action items, dependencies, and customer commitments throughout the implementation
• Provide internal and customer stakeholders with clear, consistent visibility into implementation status, risks, accomplishments, and next steps
Drive Customer & Cross-Functional Alignment
• Build strong working relationships with customer project leaders, executives, clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and technical teams
• Facilitate customer governance and implementation meetings that drive decisions, resolve open issues, and maintain alignment across stakeholders
• Partner closely with Clinical Workflow Implementation Managers to incorporate workflow transformation, change management, training, and adoption activities into the overall implementation plan
• Coordinate across Product Implementation, Data Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other LeanTaaS teams to ensure workstreams and dependencies remain aligned
• Navigate competing priorities and differing stakeholder perspectives while maintaining focus on implementation goals and customer outcomes
• Ensure a thorough handoff to Customer Success at the completion of implementation, including outcomes, open items, commitments, risks, and opportunities for continued optimization
• Understand the overall implementation strategy and translate it into a delivery approach that aligns project execution with customer needs, implementation goals, and desired business outcomes
Contribute to Implementation Excellence
• Apply established implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices…
