Are you an experienced **Azure Data Engineer** who enjoys building scalable data platforms and transforming complex business requirements into robust technical solutions?

For one of our clients in Brussels, we are looking for a **Senior Azure Data Engineer** to strengthen an established Data & Analytics team. You will work in a modern Microsoft Azure environment and contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise-level data platforms.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you will be involved throughout the data lifecycle. You will:

* Design, develop and maintain scalable **data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes**
* Build data solutions using **Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks**
* Develop data transformations using **Python and PySpark**
* Work with **Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Synapse**
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical data solutions
* Design and optimise **data models** for analytical use cases
* Monitor production pipelines, investigate issues and improve performance and reliability
* Implement automated testing and contribute to data quality initiatives
* Work with **CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code** within an Azure/DevOps environment
* Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Analysts and business stakeholders
* Contribute to topics such as **metadata management, data lineage and data quality**
