They are looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen their security team and take an active role in securing the organisation's infrastructure, systems and cloud environment.

But this role goes beyond the technical scope.**The long-term vision is to develop the right person towards a future CISO position**, giving you increasing exposure to security strategy, risk, stakeholders and decision-making as you grow.

Security Engineer - Your Role

* Protect and improve the organisation's**IT infrastructure and security environment**, covering networks, systems and cloud platforms.
* Manage and optimise**security solutions**such as firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection and access controls.
* Investigate**security incidents and vulnerabilities**, helping identify the root cause and implement effective solutions.
* Take part in**cybersecurity projects**, from infrastructure hardening to cloud security and new security technologies.
* Work closely with**Infrastructure, Network and IT teams**to identify risks and strengthen the overall security posture.
* Gradually take on more responsibility around**security governance, risk and strategy**, preparing you for a future leadership role.
