Project Manager (Electrical – High Voltage & Substation Projects)

Projects: - Involvement in High-Voltage (HV) and Extra-High-Voltage (EHV) electrical systems. - Work on TNB substation infrastructure, AIS/GIS substations, and utility-scale power grids.

Role Objective: - Deliver full-lifecycle HV and substation projects from planning through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. - Act as the primary liaison for clients (TNB), consultants, and authorities. - Oversee design reviews, technical submissions, and ensure safety compliance. - Lead site meetings and manage subcontractor performance.

Requirements: - Degree in Electrical Engineering. - 5–10 years of experience in HV systems (33kV to 275kV+) and TNB projects. - Strong knowledge of substation design (AIS/GIS) and protection systems. - Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

About You: - Currently an Engineer or Senior Engineer with a proven track record in the power sector. - Experience working with major main contractors or leading design consultancies. - Deep expertise in managing complex projects such as HV & TNB Substations, transmission lines, or grid interconnection schemes. - Decisive leader capable of managing multiple projects under pressure. - Technically proficient in power system studies and TNB standards.
