Project Manager - AI

About this role

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, data and digital transformation projects from POC to production and transition to operations.

• Define project scope, plans, timelines, resources, dependencies and success criteria with business and technical teams.

• Manage Agile delivery, project governance, stakeholder communication and executive reporting.

• Coordinate AI model evaluation, testing, production readiness and post-deployment activities.

• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, including AI-specific risks.

• Coordinate internal teams, vendors and delivery partners to ensure timely and quality delivery.

• Ensure projects comply with relevant data privacy, security and responsible AI requirements.

Skills Needed

• 9+ years of experience managing technology or digital transformation projects.

• Proven experience delivering AI, data, machine learning, GenAI or automation projects from POC to production.

• Working knowledge of GenAI/LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, MLOps and data pipelines.

• Understanding of AI governance, PDPA, data privacy, security and responsible AI principles.

• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and managing cross-functional teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office.

• Experience managing vendors and delivery partners is an advantage.

• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM or PMI-ACP certification is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
