Deputy Project Manager

About this role

• $7,000 - $9,000 Sat allowance + AWS, Bonus

• 5-days with 2 Saturday / month

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager/ Director in managing and coordinating overall project activities, including project management, site supervision, and risk control, to ensure project objectives are achieved

• Support the PD in overseeing project execution and site operations, monitoring progress closely to ensure timely completion within budget and project requirements

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve project-related issues

• Assist in implementing effective cost control measures, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring adherence to project schedules

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the latest Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act provisions throughout all stages of the project

• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant authorities' requirements, regulations, and statutory obligations

• Assist the PD in identifying and managing project risks, delays, and other potential issues
Requirements

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (certificates recognized by the PE Board)

• Has relevant experience in infrastructure projects, e.g. construction of underpasses, ramps, cut & cover tunnels, roads, rail and airport project.
