Step into a hands-on O&G role in one of Queensland’s most scenic coastal locations.
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Prevocational Registrars (REG1–REG6) to join a supportive, expanding Women’s Health team at a busy regional hospital located in the vibrant Fraser Coast area.

The Role
This full-time, fixed-term opportunity offers excellent clinical exposure across a range of obstetrics and gynaecology services in a growing regional facility equipped with state-of-the-art maternity and surgical theatres. You'll be working in a modern, mid-sized hospital that supports a high birth rate and a diverse patient population across urban and rural communities.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Deliver inpatient and outpatient care in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings
Manage general gynaecology and perioperative patients under supervision
Participate in theatre lists, birthing suite management, clinics, and ward rounds
Provide after-hours coverage (night shifts, weekends, on-call) once credentialed
Assist in supervising junior doctors and contribute to medical student education
Engage in ongoing learning, audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives

Who You Are
Eligible for General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Completed at least 6 months’ clinical experience in O&G as an RMO
Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills
Passion for women’s health, rural/regional medicine, and improving maternal outcomes
A team player who values supportive supervision and a positive culture
