<p><strong>ABOUT THIS POSITION</strong></p> <p style="text-align: left;">Digital Extremes is seeking a Network and Security Technician to join our IT team in London, Ontario. If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and contributing to a secure, high-availability service for millions of players, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Please note this is an onsite position at our London, Ontario studio.</p> <div><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></div> <ul> <li>Provide comprehensive support for internal stakeholders regarding connectivity and security concerns.</li> <li>Address and resolve incoming tickets pertaining to network performance and security systems.</li> <li>Deliver technical guidance to staff for troubleshooting network-related obstacles.</li> <li>Manage user accounts on a variety of network and security platforms: 2FA, remote access, wireless, voip, etc.</li> <li>Engage in active monitoring of network and security platforms to uphold the integrity of our high-availability services.</li> <li>Maintain a consistent onsite presence at our studio location.</li> <li>Demonstrate superior interpersonal communication and the capacity to manage diverse priorities in a rapid-deployment setting.</li> <li>Other responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> <div><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></div> <ul> <li>2 years of professional experience in a similar role.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of how core network and security protocols function (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).</li> <li>Familiarity with critical security systems, including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Network and Security Monitoring platforms. </li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li> <li>Completion of a program in network/systems administration is preferred.</li> </ul> <div>Please note that the salary range mentioned in this job description should serve simply as a guide.
