This role is crucial to ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our global infrastructure that supports both our acclaimed games and our&nbsp;web presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of networking expertise, a deep commitment to security best practices, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced live service environment.<br><br>If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and contributing to a secure, high-availability service for millions of players, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Please note this is an on-site position at our London, Ontario studio.<br><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></div> <ul> <li>Edge Defense: Deploy, maintain, and optimize application-layer firewalls and&nbsp;willingness to learn the Akamai DDoS/CDN platform</li> <li>Multi-Site / Multi-Platform Connectivity: Helps plan and implement wide-area&nbsp;network (WAN) solutions between multiple sites and platforms</li> <li>Security Platforms: Serves as the primary or secondary owner for a variety of&nbsp;platforms: Patching, AV, 2FA, Monitoring, etc.</li> <li>Live Ops: Provides critical "outside hours" support when services are down or&nbsp;degraded</li> <li>Project Leadership: Plans and implements multi-site network infrastructure&nbsp;deployments</li> <li>Monitoring and Incident Response: Leads the ongoing monitoring of IT&nbsp;infrastructure to identify and mitigate external threats</li> <li>Other responsibilities as assigned</li> </ul> <div><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></div> <ul> <li>Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience managing enterprise switches (e.g., Aruba, Cisco, Juniper) and application-layer firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).</li> <li>Deep technical knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and Quality of Service (QoS).</li> <li>Proven experience with modern security platforms, including EDR, vulnerability scanners, and centralized logging/SIEM tools.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues under pressure.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Strong commitment to information security best practices and handling sensitive data with integrity.</li> </ul> <div>Please note that the salary range mentioned in this job description should serve simply as a guide.
