Capabilities include:</p> <ul> <li>In-house market knowledge & trends</li> <li>End-to-end service from idea generation through to manufacturing and launch</li> <li>Technical, commercial and production expertise</li> <li>Outstanding customer service</li> </ul> <p><strong>About The Engineering Team</strong></p> <p>Based within the Operational division of the business, The Engineering Team is responsible for the complete asset care management across all sites including pro-active and re-active maintenance to ensure that minimum disruption is caused to the business.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Reporting to Head of Projects & Engineering, the Engineer the Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) - Shift Lead is responsible for ensuring all reactive and proactive preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the required level and any impact on production demand is kept to a minimum.  Ensure the scheduling of works is appropriate, raising any purchase orders and ensuring all orders are delivered on time for seamless completion and distributing of works.</p> <p><strong>As a Maintenance Engineer you will:<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure proactive and reactive maintenance is completed according to priority and in a timely manner.</li> <li>Carry out Fault diagnosis accurately to identify problems with machinery and systems.</li> <li>Support the electrical team as and when required.</li> <li>Abide by and maintain all appropriate workshop regulations, ie. Abrasive wheels and General Workshop Safety</li> <li>Complete all elements of the asset care system (AMS) to ensure it remains effective.</li> <li>Shift handovers are recorded and effective.</li> <li>Maintain consistently high standards in all works and documentation.</li> <li>Maintenance activities are effective and feedback any areas for improvement.</li> <li>Collaboration with Compounding and Production planning is effective.</li> <li>Spares are maintained, ready and available.</li> <li>Ensure yours and your shifts training remains up to date. Co-ordinate with those responsible where necessary.</li> <li>Create, review and submit any documentation via doc control.</li> <li>Communicate with suppliers when parts are required, seeking quotes, raising PO’s and tracking the delivery.</li> <li>Permit issuing with relevant competencies.</li> <li>Schedule proactive and reactive…
