Capabilities include:</p> <ul> <li>In-house market knowledge & trends</li> <li>End-to-end service from idea generation through to manufacturing and launch</li> <li>Technical, commercial and production expertise</li> <li>Outstanding customer service</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for a proactive and versatile Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical expertise and sound mechanical understanding to join our fast-paced engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of production and site equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.</p> <p><strong>As a Multi-Skilled Engineer you will:<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors, motors, control panels, and automated machinery.</li> <li>Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to engineering projects aimed at increasing equipment reliability and performance.</li> <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company’s CMMS system.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.</li> <li>Provide technical support and collaborate closely with production and operations teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What skills and experience do I need for this role?<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC) in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering.</li> <li>Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment.</li> <li>Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with a solid understanding of PLCs, sensors, drives, and control systems.</li> <li>Basic mechanical skills (e.g., bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics).</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.</li> <li>Flexible, team-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>18th…
