Join Transcom as aGlobal Security Operations Engineer!

Be part of the team that is on the front line of security operations and deliver impactful work on a company-wide level. In this role, you will:

Be responsible for the security infrastructure

Conduct, amongst other things, network and server hardening, pen test, patch management and access control

Assist in providing audit responses that pertains to PCI DSS, ISO, SOC and other regulatory requirements

Monitor events from intrusion detection systems and system logs

Ensure adherence to security procedure requirements

Respond to and resolve all security incidents

This role includes shifts and 1 weekend per month on call

To be successful in this role, the following is needed:

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science /cyber security and/or 5 years equivalent work experience in the SecOps / cyber security field

Ability to work as part of a (remote) team, sharing knowledge and information

Strong communication skills

Capacity to work within rules and procedures

Systematic and methodical approach to tasks

Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken)

Knowledge of SIEM / SOAR tools such as Google SecOps is a plus
