About the Role

The Event Marketing Manager at Canary will be responsible for identifying, planning and executing events that will grow Canary’s brand and presence, with a primary focus in EMEA and APAC.

This role involves both strategizing and managing events across different regions, and iterating on campaigns to engage customers and prospects before, during and after the event.

Responsibilities

Lead event strategy for EMEA and APAC

Help drive demand generation goals by creating events that will drive leads and build pipeline

Build project plans for events and workstreams

Coordinate with third parties, including the event managers, contractors, etc.

Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product

Support the team to exceed program targets including registration/attendance, engagement, customer growth, new business pipeline.

Execute event logistics, including pre- and post-event marketing campaigns (email, SDR) and coordination

Use best in class program technology, materials, systems, marketing, and event targeting to take each event to the next level

Qualifications

5+ years of event marketing experience

Driving demand to event programs at a B2B tech company is a plus

Previous experience organizing events across different countries

BA/BS, ideally in marketing, communications, PR, or other related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English proficiency

Fluency in a second language is a bonus

Detail oriented & organized with strong project management skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with agreed-upon timelines

Experience with Google Suite, Excel, and related technology systems

Proactive self-starter

Ability to travel up to 20%

EU Compensation

Target cash compensation ranges from €84,000 – €100,000, including a fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid monthly.

This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.

Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skill level, experience, and specific work location.
