This position will support Air Force cryptographic modernization efforts by helping identify capability gaps, assess vulnerabilities in COMSEC and cryptographic systems, and develop recommendations, requirements, and strategic plans for modernized solutions across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms. The position also supports roadmap development, architecture and requirements documentation, compliance tracking, fielding strategies, and leadership briefings related to enterprise cryptographic modernization.
This person will be spearheading the organizing, conducting and continued tracking of action items and additional efforts that come out of reoccurring cryptographic conferences. They will engage in the development and implementation of initiatives that initiate out of these conferences to include the development of cryptographic modernization management tools. In addition, they will be asked to support various planning and review boards managing crypto efforts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, working groups, etc.
Draft, edit, and review a variety of correspondence and documentation, primarily using Microsoft Office applications.
Provide information management, records management, scheduling functions, and meeting/conference support.
Prepare briefing/training materials and present briefings/trainings.
Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Provide awareness of new/evolving requirements and recommendations for integration.
Provide support for planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution.
Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies.
Task-Specific Responsibilities
Host Government and inter-agency conferences, symposiums, High Performance Team (HPT) events, user forums, or workshops, based on Government approval and authorization. Provide planning for formal and informal requirements-gathering conferences and meetings supporting HQ CCC crypto/Cyber programs and initiatives.
Conduct pre-event planning, including site selection, announcements, agendas, event materials, registration, and coordination of technical requirements.
Provide on-site coordination, including attendee check-in, security issue resolution, document control, recording minutes, tracking open action items, and coordination with the host facility.
Set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot computers, projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, presentation equipment, and basic network connections.
Conduct post-event activities, including developing conference proceedings, pursuing action items to closure, generating lessons-learned reports, and maintaining accountability of event equipment.
Develop and maintain Envision and Power BI dashboards, reports, charts, and data visualization products supporting event planning, task tracking, and program management.
Analyze large datasets, develop performance metrics, and provide dashboard and data analytics support across the team, with Envision as the primary tool.
Demonstrate strong organizational and task management skills.
Requirements
Active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
Minimum of 2 years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams using TMT or other staff coordination standards, document reviews, program updates, and background papers to drive adoption of critical recommendations.
