For a leading company in automotive logistics located in Ghent, we are looking for a **Shift Leader**. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the warehouse operations, guiding a team to guarantee productivity, efficiency, and safety.

* leading the warehouse team by giving daily briefings, monitoring performances, and providing feedback
* planning, scheduling, and managing daily warehouse activities to meet production deadlines
* optimizing the warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
* monitoring the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods
* maintaining safety standards and company policies by performing regular audits and implementing corrective actions
* monitoring the condition of warehouse equipment (such as forklifts and conveyors) and collaborating with the maintenance team
* preparing and submitting reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
* documenting operational procedures and ensuring team members understand and comply with them
