The opportunity We are looking for a Vice President of Technology to join our Executive Team. This is a rare opportunity: a full-ownership technology leadership role in a company where technology is not a support function but a direct source of competitive advantage, customer experience, and scalable growth.

As VP Technology, your mission is to drive the technology that makes Fastned faster, smarter and harder to replicate. That means staying ahead of what is coming, making the right bets early, and building the systems and capabilities that will shape our industry before others catch up.

You will have full ownership of Fastned's technology stack: from the software powering our operations and customer experience, to the hardware and infrastructure at our stations, to the IT architecture that connects it all. You will lead a team of over 70 people across three domains, each led by a Director or Head, and you will be a core member of the Executive Team. What you will own Core Digital Systems (Product & Engineering department) Set the strategic direction for what Fastned builds and owns in software and digital products, including: Our Charging Station Management System (Revolt)

The Fastned customer app and digital business solutions

All customer-facing platforms: payments, roaming, communication protocols, and API integrations

Internal digital tools that power operations

You ensure our external-facing technology consistently delivers a best-in-class customer experience and stays ahead of the market. You will own the make-or-buy framework, keeping Product & Engineering focused on what genuinely differentiates Fastned. This is more than engineering. It spans product management, product discovery, and design. You will lead empowered product teams that own customer and business outcomes end to end, and protect the ways of working that let them move fast and stay close to the customer.

Energy & Infrastructure Technology (Engineering & Technology department) Own the technology roadmap for our stations infrastructure and energy infrastructure including: Charger, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and EMS (Energy Management System) selection and driving supplier roadmaps while continuously improving firmware. Integrating BESS and EMS to unlock new stations at grid congested sites and complying to grid operator requirements

Standardized engineering, compliance and centralized sourcing of canopies, structures, electrical systems, and shops from technical design and documentation to supply chain and continuous improvement

Technology and data capabilities underpinning our energy strategy, including price risk tooling, certificate and e-credit management, invoice auditing, and market exposure management which have a material impact on our P&L

Infrastructure decisions compound over years and directly determine unit economics, reliability and customer experience. You will define the infrastructure standards and system architecture that enable rapid, repeatable station deployment at scale, and ensure our stations are equipped to handle the challenges that will define the next decade of fast charging.

Integration & Enabling Layer (IT & Business Systems department) Drive the evolution and modernisation of Fastned's internal IT ecosystem, including ERP, finance systems, business and workplace systems, connectivity, and operational tools. You will: Define and own the overall systems architecture, ensuring our systems are integrated, interoperable, and built to scale across markets

Embed cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance into the architecture from day one, not as an afterthought

Manage relationships with external vendors, system integrators, and technology partners, making deliberate build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions

Charging hardware that delivers best-in-class uptime and reliability, with a station architecture that enables rapid, repeatable deployment at scale

Battery and grid integration that reduces energy costs, manages peak demand, and unlocks station deployment where grid capacity is constrained

Enable world-class network operations by the right tools, data, intelligence and automation

Internal systems, tooling, connectivity and IT operations that reduce friction and increase effectiveness across the whole business.
