VP, Product Management, Data Core
The Role
As part of the Product Management organization, we develop the platform that drives the next generation of enterprise intelligence and process improvement. Our platform enables practitioners to better understand the complex processes that define their enterprise and the tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
We are looking for a visionary and execution-focused leader to define and evolve the Data Core capabilities of the Celonis platform. This includes the data ingestion, storage, processing, and modeling infrastructure that powers Celonis' process mining and intelligence products at scale. Success requires a deep understanding of enterprise data needs, modern data architecture, and the ability to collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders to deliver high-impact, scalable data solutions.
The Work You'll Do
• Develop and lead a high-performing team of product managers with excellent recruiting, coaching, and development skills
• Define a clear vision and strategy for Celonis' core data capabilities — including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and semantic modeling
• Own the product roadmap for data infrastructure that powers process mining, analytics, and AI/ML use cases across the platform
• Partner closely with engineering, data science, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, performant, and enterprise-grade data services
• Work backwards from customer needs to ensure data core capabilities meet the reliability, compliance, and performance expectations of global enterprises
• Drive alignment across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams on data platform priorities and release timelines
• Stay current on trends in data architecture, lakehouse technologies, data mesh, and AI/ML data pipelines to inform the product roadmap
• Ensure data core capabilities support key enterprise requirements including data residency, governance, lineage, security, and audit
• Be flexible, excel when faced with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment — act now, then iterate
The Qualifications You Need
• Deep knowledge of modern data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse patterns, streaming data, and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience building and scaling enterprise data platforms at a SaaS or cloud-native company
• Strong track record of recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing product management teams
• Ability to translate complex technical data concepts into clear product strategy and customer value
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and sales teams across time zones
• Analytical mindset with a passion for data, combined with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving clarity in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment
