We're working with a large-scale organisation looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Antwerp.
You'll work on large-scale platforms that power products across the media and AI landscape, helping to build backend systems that process high volumes of data and deliver strong performance.

**Responsibilities**

* Develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
* Build APIs and MicroServices that support data-intensive platforms.
* Collaborate with product managers and frontend developers to deliver new features.
* Optimise application performance and scalability.
* Write clean and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
* Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
