ACCEL Schools uses a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, which can be accessed online and through a variety of traditional methods. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><em>Please note – this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually.</em> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><em>Eligibility: Open to residents of Ohio</em> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About the Opportunity</strong> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Intervention Specialist supports the educational and behavioral goals of all students with a focus on students with an Individualized Education Program. </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work cooperatively with classroom teachers, interpreting the abilities and disabilities of these students, assisting in classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricular as necessary, and assisting the student with regular class assignments</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct functional behavior assessments</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Write and implement behavior improvement plans</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals and objectives</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Relentlessly work to meet all goals related to student achievement and culture as well as state specific achievement goals</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as case manager for a designated set of students</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of the students</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About You</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience working in a full room inclusion type model or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model  </span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial,…
