We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.</p> <p style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re hiring a <strong>Traveling Tent Installer (Mechanically inclined)</strong> within our <strong>Houston</strong></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>, TX</strong> region and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, provide general maintenance, <strong>set up tents, fencing, and  temporary walls</strong>. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest equipment in the industry.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 1;"> </p> <p style="line-height: 1;"><strong>Schedule: </strong>Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (On call during the weekend only in special circumstances)</p> <h3 style="line-height: 1;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p>As a Traveling Tent Installer, you'll travel and support our site solutions team within your assigned region by performing equipment set-up, on-site equipment service, maintenance, and repairs. This includes <strong>tent set-up, fencing installation, conducting machine inspections, and preparing equipment for use.</strong> You’ll work closely with customers, troubleshoot issues using real-time diagnostic tools, and apply your electrical and hydraulic expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently. A strong understanding of schematics and a customer-focused approach are key to success in this role.</p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Practice safe job practices for installing and repairing equipment</span></p> </li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1;"> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably</span></p> </li> <li style="line-height: 1;"> <p>Perform set-up, repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>(Large tents, fencing, flooring, turn-styles and more)</strong></span></p> </li> <li style="line-height: 1;"> <p>Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis</p> </li> <li style="line-height: 1;"> <p>Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts</p> </li> <li style="line-height: 1;"> <p>Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (OSHA 30 preferred)</p> </li> <li style="line-height: 1;"> <p>Year-round company provided OEM training</p> </li> <li style="line-height: 1;"> <p>Other duties, assigned as needed</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why EquipmentShare?</strong></h3> <p>Because we do things differently — and we think you’ll feel it from day one.
