To strengthen a small and specialised technical team in Mouscron, we are looking for a mechanic who will mainly work on trailers and semi-trailers.
Previous experience with trailers is definitely an advantage, but it is not an absolute requirement. Technical insight, motivation and a willingness to learn are just as important.

What will you do?
You will mainly work on trailers and semi-trailers, while also carrying out technical work on trucks when required.

The job is varied and combines mechanical repairs, diagnostics, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics. No two working days are exactly the same.

* Carry out maintenance and repairs on trailers and semi-trailers.
* Assemble and disassemble various mechanical components.
* Diagnose and solve mechanical and technical problems.
* Perform welding work.
* Work on pneumatic systems.
* Maintain and repair hydraulic systems.
* Repair braking systems and other technical components.
* Inspect trailers and prepare them technically for vehicle inspection.
* Replace defective or worn parts.
* Carry out general mechanical work on trucks when required.
* Independently analyse technical problems and find practical solutions.
* Help maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.

We are not necessarily looking for someone who already knows everything about trailers. A solid mechanical background, technical insight and the right attitude are what matter most.

If your experience comes from trucks, agricultural machinery or construction equipment, your skills can transfer perfectly to this position, and you will have the opportunity to further specialise in trailer mechanics.

You will work in a small team with plenty of variety: diagnostics, disassembly, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, braking systems and preparing vehicles for inspection.
