Terrazzo Installer

About this role

LaFace Flooring LLC is seeking an experienced Terrazzo Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, finishing, and repairing terrazzo flooring in commercial and municipal buildings. Requirements Prepare floors and substrates for terrazzo installation Mix, pour, spread, and level terrazzo materials Install divider strips, control joints, and decorative patterns Operate grinders, polishers, saws, and other flooring equipment Grind, polish, seal, and finish terrazzo surfaces Repair cracks, chips, and damaged terrazzo Read plans, specifications, and layout drawings Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures Work effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades Travel to project locations as required Qualifications: Terrazzo installation experience preferred Commercial flooring or concrete-finishing experience is beneficial Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Experience using terrazzo grinders and polishing equipment Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime or weekends when project schedules require it Benefits Pay Rate Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Depending on Experience Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay Benefits may be available based on eligibility Opportunities for overtime and advancement Prevailing-wage rates apply to qualifying municipal projects Employment Type: Full-time We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, familial status, military or veteran status, domestic violence victim status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
