This role involves working both independently and with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain a variety of technical documents.</p> <p><strong> Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, SOPs, required deliverables, and security-related documents for technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Create technical content that is clear, accurate, user-friendly, and meets DoW and project standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather and verify information.</li> <li>Use an issue tracking system (GitLab) to monitor development progress and provide documentation support as systems evolve.</li> <li>Work with the government Configuration Manager to help track customer deliveries of materials and use revision logs and tracking spreadsheets to maintain version control.</li> <li>Take initiative to spot missing or unclear information and address gaps to ensure documentation is complete and effective.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>U.S. citizenship is required</li> <li>2 years of technical writing experience, ideally for DoW programs</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, technical writing, or a STEM field with writing experience or 4 years of equivalent experience.</li> <li>Experience working with engineering or technical teams.</li> <li>100% on site role</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with MadCap Flare.</li> <li>Familiarity with configuration management, versioning, and documentation standards.</li> <li>Working knowledge of SELinux/Linux, GitLab, VMWare, HTML, image editing tools, and basic programming concepts.</li> <li>Detail-oriented and able to improve and streamline legacy documentation.</li> <li>Familiarity with CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) handling requirements</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Highly proficient with Microsoft Word.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Strong editing and organizational skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Clearance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>An active secret federal security clearance is required</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
