Started in 1995 by a team of forward-thinking Traders, we are proud to call ourselves an industry leader that keeps making markets and each other better.</p></div><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>CTC is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team, supporting hiring across our technology teams. This is a full-cycle role with a strong sourcing expectation, embedded in a collaborative team that operates with high standards. It is not a siloed position. You will be expected to contribute to the team as much as to your individual searches. </p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Manage and execute full-cycle searches across CTC's technology function. </li> <li>Build and maintain proactive sourcing pipelines through direct outreach, networking, creative job postings, employee referrals, and market research, not just inbound applicants or search firms. </li> <li>Partner closely with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, search strategies, and interview plans.  </li> <li>Develop fluency in our business, culture and teams to understand what great talent looks like across technology at all career levels, from Associate Engineer through Principal  </li> <li>Thoughtfully lead candidate debrief and calibration sessions, ensuring alignment between interviewers, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders. </li> <li>Manage candidate experience from first contact through offer with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. </li> <li>Bring a team-first mentality by sharing market intelligence, collaborating on initiatives, and investing in the growth of those around you to build a recruiting team the business trusts and values. </li> <li>Partner closely with the HCM Practice Leader/HR Business Partner to provide exceptional and seamless service to our internal clients  </li> <li>Weave AI into all aspects of the recruiting process </li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</strong></p> <ul> <li>~5+ years of recruiting experience with strong preference for experience at quant hedge funds or prop trading firms </li> <li>Ideal candidate has spent time in both search firm and corporate recruiting environments </li> <li>Demonstrated strength in direct sourcing, with a track record of proactive outreach and pipeline development </li> <li>Track record of successfully vetting candidates for technical ability as well as cultural attributes  </li> <li>Deep understanding of technical skill sets and how these contribute to a prop trading firm or quant hedge fund  </li> <li>Values the success of the team above personal recognition </li> <li>Demonstrated track record of successfully utilizing behavioral interviews  </li> <li>Operates with a high sense of urgency  </li> <li>Fluency with technical assessment tools such as Codility and CoderPad  </li> <li>Strong communicator who can engage sophisticated technical and business audiences </li> <li>Organized, accountable, and capable of managing multiple searches without dropping the ball </li> <li>Chicago (preferred) or New York required. Hybrid in-office (Monday-Thursday in office)  </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>The salary range for this role is listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
