Meet the Team
At Fever, the Tax team ensures we stay on top of global compliance, from sales taxes and deal structuring to reporting obligations and identifying strategic opportunities. We work closely with external advisors to validate tax criteria and optimize processes that streamline the finance function. Whether it’s defining tax parameters for new business activities or solving compliance issues across global markets, we provide the stability and expertise that allows Fever to grow without a hitch.
The Role
We are looking for a Tax Specialist to lead our tax practice across the APAC and Middle East regions. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with the Tax Manager to support the global tax compliance and strategy of a high-growth group.
You will be the regional expert, responsible for researching and analyzing both direct and indirect tax matters in diverse jurisdictions. From managing tax audits to identifying planning opportunities and supporting the company’s expansion into new markets, you will demonstrate ownership and proactivity in a fast-paced, international environment.
What You’ll Do
• Research and analyse specific indirect and direct tax matters within APAC and Middle East jurisdictions and provide tailored advice
• Identify risks and potential tax planning opportunities
• Determine uncertain tax exposures and manage appropriate tax provisioning
• Collaborate with third-party service providers as required
• Work with the Finance & Accounting teams to ensure adequate knowledge and application of taxation laws
• Support all indirect and direct tax audits / inquiries from tax authorities (alongside third-party providers and local finance teams)
• Prepare applications for taxation rulings, tax incentives and tax exemptions where available
