The successful candidate will be based in Taipei and will report directly to the VP of Global Tax. This role will oversee tax compliance in Taiwan while collaborating closely with both global and regional stakeholders to support strategic tax initiatives in Taiwan.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What You Will Do</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"134245417":false}"> </span></p> <p>Taiwan Tax Compliance & Reporting<br>• Oversee corporate income tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and other local tax obligations.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and disclosures.<br>• Proactively identify and evaluate tax-saving opportunities in Taiwan.<br>• Manage relationships with local tax authorities and support audits or inquiries.</p> <p>Tax Provision<br>• Review and support Taiwan quarterly and annual tax provision calculations under IFRS and US GAAP.<br>• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.<br>• Monitor and validate that Taiwan entities’ financial results are consistent with global transfer pricing guidelines.</p> <p>Stakeholder Collaboration<br>• Work closely with legal, treasury, and business units to provide tax input on contracts, transactions, and strategic initiatives.<br>• Liaise with external advisors and global tax teams to ensure consistency and compliance.</p> <p><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Basic Qualifications</span></strong><strong><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"134245417":false}"> </span></p> <ul> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or Law; CPA or equivalent preferred.</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>12+ years of experience in Taiwan tax, ideally with exposure to international tax matters.</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Strong understanding of Taiwan tax laws, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax principles.</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Experience in a multinational corporation and/or Big 4 firm preferred.</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English (fluency in Korean is a plus).</p> </li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto"> </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"134245417":false}"> </span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></strong><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Recruitment Process and Others </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"134245417":false}"> </span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Recruitment Process </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"134245417":false}"> </span></p> <ul> <li data-leveltext=""…
