They monitor compliance and report news, compliance or deviations, and the information necessary to achieve sustainability objectives.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Walk through</strong> CookUnity’s facilities to ensure that sustainable procedures are followed as they should.</li> <li>Classify, weigh, and dispose of Food Waste (donations/compost/garbage/family meals).</li> <li>Condition and prepare Food Waste for donations or for internal use (back to market).</li> <li>Daily walks through the facility (kitchens, green stations, fulfilment, market) and complete the DAILY AUDIT BIN FORM to detect any contamination.</li> <li>Monthly Sustainability Audit form, Assist to the review meetings with the Sustainability team and comply with the corrective actions to improve the final score.</li> <li>Coordinate DONATIONS pick up with the Non-profit organization we work with.</li> <li>Dispose of COMPOSTABLE materials correctly.</li> <li>Give feedback to the people in the everyday work to accomplish Sustainability standards (Create Sustainable behavior).</li> <li>Support people as a Green Leader <strong>“Go green”</strong>.</li> <li>Ensure Correct Waste Disposal in all kitchens</li> <li>Ensure all supplies to correct waste diversion (Stickers, posters, bins)</li> <li>Coordinate with the cleaning team to keep the Green Stations clean and in order.</li> <li>Team up with OPS for the success of the Sustainability Programs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Computer skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.</li> <li>Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a physically demanding environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>🩺  Health Insurance coverage</p> <p>🌅 401k Plan</p> <p>⛱ Paid sick days</p> <p>🐣 Family leave: ****12 weeks for primary caregiver and 6 weeks for secondary caregiver, fully paid</p> <p>🕯 Compassionate Leave: 3-5 days each time the need arises</p> <p>🌟 Awesome opportunity to join a company that is looking to change how we eat and how chefs work!</p> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><h3>Compensation</h3> All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.</div><div class="title">Pay Range for this position</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$18</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$20 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">If you’re interested in this role, please submit your application, and if we think you might be a fit, we'll get in touch with you. <strong>Thank you for your time!</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>CookUnity is an Equal Opportunity Employer</strong>.
