The Company:
David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.
This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout food brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

The Role:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Associate - Manager (Procurement) to support and scale our procurement operations as the business grows. This role will focus on executing sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and helping build the systems and processes that support a reliable and efficient supply chain.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with experience in procurement or supply chain and an interest in growing into a leadership role over time.

The Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations & Systems
Execute day-to-day procurement activities including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and inventory tracking
Support ERP workflows (e.g., NetSuite), including supplier setup, PO management, and data accuracy
Help build and maintain procurement processes, documentation, and reporting systems
Assist in materials planning, including tracking inventory levels and supporting forecasting efforts
Maintain dashboards and trackers to improve visibility into purchasing and supplier performance

Supplier Coordination & Support
Manage day-to-day communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
Support sourcing initiatives by identifying and onboarding new suppliers
Assist in maintaining supplier documentation, pricing, and contracts
Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks or issues as needed
Partner with suppliers to improve service levels and lead times

Supply Chain Execution & Reliability
Help ensure continuity of supply across raw materials and packaging
Track inventory levels and flag potential shortages or risks
Support implementation of backup suppliers and contingency plans
Work cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment

Procurement Optimization & Analysis
Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and inefficiencies
Support negotiations by gathering data and preparing materials
Assist in improving procurement processes and reducing operational friction
Partner with Finance and Supply Chain teams on budgeting and cost tracking

Growth & Ownership
Take ownership of specific categories, suppliers, or projects
Contribute to building scalable procurement processes as the company grows
Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and supplier performance
Grow into increased responsibility and leadership within the procurement function
Requirements
2-3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or vendor management
Experience in a CPG, food, manufacturing, or inventory-based business is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and procurement workflows
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Analytical mindset with comfort working with data and spreadsheets
Clear communicator who can work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Self-starter who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Interest in growing into a leadership role over time
Excitement about building an early-stage company focused on health and nutrition

This is a full-time role.
Compensation: $115k- $140k per year. The compensation range is inclusive of bonus.
