During your Summer break, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced veterinarians and get hands-on experience. </p> <p class="InfoHighlightSection-module--text--a4827">Our summer veterinary assistant roles are currently filled.  Please complete the information below and we will reach out to you when positions open up.</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our Temporary Summer </span><strong>Veterinary Assistants</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> partner with our Veterinarians and Vet Techs to deliver exceptional care to our pets and pet parents. You will provide a high level of compassion as you interact with our clients and support our cohesive teams in whatever is needed, from scribing during visits to assisting with procedures. You are efficient, detail oriented, and a collaborative team member who is passionate about providing quality care to pets! </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">This is a temporary full time (40 hrs/week) position with a rotating schedule of four 10 hour shifts per week. </span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Scribe for our Veterinarians during visits</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support medical team members with surgeries, x-rays, treatments, and other procedures</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Compassionately handle and restrain pets for exams</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Record and report on patient symptoms</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Clean, restock and maintain clinic common areas and exam rooms</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Clearly communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans, serving as a guide through the client’s visit experience</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist with client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling, and client education as needed</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Perform other duties as assigned by your team leaders</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>You Have:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">1+ year of experience working as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">A working knowledge of veterinary terminology</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica,…
