<p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong></p> <p>This is an onsite position.</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>AEVEX Aerospace seeks an experienced detail-oriented Subcontract Administrator to support multiple business units in a dynamic and fast paced manufacturing environment. This role is a full time, on-site position. The Subcontract Administrator works with the AEVEX team of procurement professionals, in support of DoD programs, to assure compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and legal requirements including FAR/DFARs and International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR). We are seeking a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Candidate must have knowledge of various contract types, knowledge and application of TINA and CAS, along with good verbal and written communication skills. Under limited supervision, the Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for activities that span the entire procurement cycle, including but not limited to: negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitation packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiation of terms and conditions, subcontract administration, issue resolution, and closeout activities.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers</li> <li>Responsible for Proposal support of multiple business units</li> <li>Responsible for source selection and finding suppliers and vendors that meet the goals of the&nbsp;company</li> <li>Accountable for establishing and maintaining procurement parameters in MRP system</li> <li>Responsible for supporting make v buy recommendations consistent with business make v buy&nbsp;strategy</li> <li>Responsible for developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of goods and&nbsp;services used across business units</li> <li>Responsible for Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional&nbsp;vendors</li> <li>Accountable for evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the&nbsp;quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries</li> <li>Responsible for communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods&nbsp;and services affecting production</li> <li>Assure compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and legal requirements including&nbsp;FAR/DFARS and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).</li> <li>Negotiates NDA's and Teaming Agreements Terms and Conditions and Proposed Pricing</li> <li>Creates RFP solicitations in accordance with Government and AEVEX requirements, and ensure&nbsp;responses meet all TINA requirements.</li> <li>Evaluates supplier proposal responses and performs detailed proposal analyses, source&nbsp;selections.</li> <li>Analyze risks and identify risk mitigation.</li> <li>Acts as primary interface between subcontractors and the programs being supported for all&nbsp;subcontracts related issues, regularly interacts with program management, contracts, project&nbsp;control, finance, business development.</li> <li>Administers subcontracts of various types (FFP/Cost-type, etc.) and complexity, assuring&nbsp;compliance with AEVEX procurement procedures and contractual obligations for price, delivery,&nbsp;quality, and performance.</li> <li>Accountable for conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement</li> <li>Responsible for working closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and&nbsp;terms are favorable</li> <li>Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards</li> <li>Interfaces with Supply Chain Staff, Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Senior Level&nbsp;Management, Accounts Payable and Contracts - Is a key and integral member of Integrated&nbsp;Product Teams (IPT's)</li> <li>Perform other duties as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Standard Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].</li> <li>Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business&nbsp;associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies&nbsp;and practices.</li> <li>Embodies AEVEX’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company&nbsp;culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and risk management principles.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li> <li>Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS</li> <li>Working knowledge of Government Property Administration</li> <li>Working knowledge of Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) applicability</li> <li>Proficiency in word processing, electronic spreadsheet, analysis techniques.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education / Certifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, supply chain management,&nbsp;or related field.</li> <li>Master's…
