This will be a high-impact role designed for a motivated, finance-driven professional on a <strong>CFO-track career path</strong>. This position sits at the center of the company’s most important strategic and financial decisions and offers unparalleled exposure to senior leadership, the Executive Team, and the Board of Directors.</p> <p>The successful candidate will play an integral role in shaping the strategic direction of the business through rigorous financial analysis, valuation, and modeling. The role’s core responsibility is the <strong>day-to-day management and evolution of the Arevon Corporate Model, </strong>the firm’s central decision-making tool used to determine corporate valuation, evaluate acquisitions and divestitures, assess financing alternatives, and calculate long-term incentive plan outcomes.</p> <p>This is a highly visible role suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of <strong>corporate finance, investing, and advanced financial modeling</strong>, and who wants to build a deep understanding of how a large, rapidly growing renewable energy platform creates value.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><u>Corporate Model Ownership & Valuation</u></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the <strong>primary day-to-day owner</strong> of the Arevon Corporate Model, ensuring accuracy, consistency, auditability, and scalability.</li> <li>Work closely with the Vice President of Investments & Corporate Finance to deliver <strong>quarterly valuation updates and analysis</strong> to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.</li> <li>Manage model enhancements and clearly communicate drivers of valuation and return impacts.</li> <li>Run accretion/dilution, sensitivity, and scenario analyses for <strong>M&A, divestitures, financings, and strategic alternatives</strong>.</li> <li>Assess impacts on long-term incentive plans and translate outputs into clear, decision-ready materials for senior leadership and the Board.</li> <li>Improve model structure, controls, documentation, and automation (advanced Excel/VBA).</li> <li>Help establish best practices for model governance, version control, and change management; apply an investor mindset to challenge assumptions.</li> </ul> <p><u>Strategic Finance & Cross‑Functional Collaboration</u></p> <ul> <li>Support the CIO organization in evaluating investment, acquisition, and project financing decisions across solar and storage.</li> <li>Partner with FP&A to align budgets, forecasts, and performance tracking with the Corporate Model.</li> <li>Coordinate inputs across Treasury, Project Finance, Development, Procurement, and Asset Management to maintain consistent assumptions.</li> <li>Support annual business planning, long-range forecasting, and strategic scenario work.</li> <li>Work with external valuation advisors/consultants to strengthen transparency and audit readiness.</li> <li>Assist with broader investment and project financing transaction scope as capacity allows</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>At a minimum, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Renewable Energy Industry, Utilities Sector, or Banking.</li> <li>Demonstrated financial acumen and experience developing and building complex financial models using Microsoft Excel. Preference for experience in Corporate valuation, M&A, and/or portfolio-level modeling experience</li> <li>Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems.</li> <li>Extremely detail-oriented and highly well-organized, with a strong ability to manage complex, interdependent workstreams.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with preference for VBA…
