Storeperson - Warehouse & Truck Driver (Class 1)

Looking for a steady, hands-on warehouse role with a good team?
We're looking for a Storeperson to join our Timaru team. This is a warehouse-focused role covering stock handling, truck loading and load restraint, with local deliveries when needed. Monday to Friday · 8:00am–4:30pm · Weekly pay

What you'll be doing

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders

• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock

• Loading trucks and securing loads with straps and restraint equipment

• Operating forklifts and lifting equipment

• Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes

• Carrying out local customer deliveries as required

• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe

Requirements

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (mandatory)

• Storeperson or warehouse experience – picking, packing, dispatch

• Forklift licence (F endorsement)

• Truck loading and load restraint experience

• Experience handling steel, aluminium or other long, heavy materials (an advantage)

• A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand

• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
