The Role:
We are looking for a Staff Product Marketing Manager, Quantum Networking & Security to lead go-to-market strategy for technically sophisticated product areas within IonQ Quantum Platform. This role will shape how IonQ’s quantum networking and security portfolio is understood in-market – translating complex technical capabilities into differentiated positioning, launch strategies, impactful revenue-driving narratives, and sales motions that accelerate market adoption, support pipeline growth, and strengthen IonQ’s position in emerging quantum markets.
This role operates at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership. You will help connect product strategy to market strategy, ensuring launches and messaging reflect a clear, credible, and effective narrative. You will lead positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, launches, and cross-functional alignment across Quantum Networking & Security, ensuring IonQ's portfolio is differentiated, commercially relevant, and positioned to drive adoption.
You will serve as a strategic market partner to product and engineering leadership – helping connect technical development decisions to customer needs, competitive dynamics, buyer behavior, and market opportunity. This includes influencing launch priorities, roadmap communication, and product strategy through customer insight, competitive intelligence, and market feedback.
This is a strategy and execution role on a highly effective team that uses AI-assisted workflows to accelerate production, improve consistency, and create more time for strategic work, customer insight, competitive analysis, and cross-functional influence. The right person is independently driven, deeply collaborative, customer-voice driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy in highly technical and evolving markets.
