With a focus on leveraging technology, automation, and remote operations to enhance efficiencies, Atlas is centered around a core mission of improving human beings’ access to hydrocarbons that power our lives and, by doing so, maximizing value creation for our shareholders.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">How You Will Make an Impact:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The <strong>Staff Mechanical Design Engineer</strong> serves as the senior technical lead for mechanical and enclosure design within the power group, with responsibility for standards, design methodologies, and execution of complex mechanical deliverables. This role provides technical authority across commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, including site layout modeling, piping and installation design, constructability-driven mechanical development, and field-ready engineering solutions that support procurement, fabrication, installation, and long-term operational reliability.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong> </strong></span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Serve as final technical authority for mechanical and enclosure designs, deviations, and risk acceptance.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own and approve mechanical and enclosure standards, design criteria, and analysis methodologies, including structural evaluation, airflow and pressure drop, and acoustics.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Define and govern enclosure design philosophy for manufacturability, reliability, ventilation performance, and serviceability.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead architecture-level decisions for high-risk or novel enclosure applications and establish validation and acceptance criteria.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead investigations into complex field failures or recurring mechanical issues and define corrective and preventive actions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide technical governance across multiple projects and advise leadership on mechanical risk, execution strategy, and capability gaps.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead mechanical design execution for commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, including development of field-ready deliverables and practical engineering solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain site layout models to support project planning, equipment arrangement, constructability, and interdisciplinary coordination.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop 3D models and layout concepts using SolidWorks and other applicable design tools, including Revit, with the ability to expand into Inventor and Plant 3D as project and business needs evolve.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own development of piping and installation diagrams for engine systems, balance-of-plant equipment, and associated mechanical infrastructure.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform pipe sizing calculations and lead piping system layout, routing, and mechanical design development based on project design criteria, operating requirements, and constructability considerations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop mechanical specifications, bill of material inputs, and supporting design documentation required for procurement, fabrication, installation, and revision-controlled release.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop engine haul arrangement models, equipment integration layouts, and constructability reviews for packaged and site-installed systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate with electrical, controls, fabrication, sourcing, construction, and field teams to ensure designs are accurate, executable, and aligned with project requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Interface with vendors, fabricators, and internal stakeholders to drive design clarification, technical alignment, and implementation of mechanical deliverables.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support expansion of internal 3D modeling capabilities for equipment,…
