In this role, you'll play a key part in transforming our Accounting and Finance functions by driving process efficiency, automating manual tasks, and improving delivery speed. Your main responsibilities will include handling month-end close tasks, preparing financial statement analysis, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, and reviewing and analyzing general ledger transactions and accounts. This role reports to the Accounting Manager.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the accounting functions related to your products</li> <li>Perform month-end close tasks and prepare financial statement analysis</li> <li>Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations</li> <li>Review and analyze general ledger transactions and accounts, using technical judgment to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.</li> <li>Update accounting processes and procedures while making best use of automation tools</li> <li>Assist internal and external auditors in the timely resolution of audit requests and questions</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area</li> <li>Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance</li> <li>0-2 years of professional accounting experience</li> <li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls</li> <li>Ability to conceptualize complex business issues and prepare relevant analysis</li> <li>Proficient in Excel</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks from various stakeholders</li> <li>Capable of taking initiative, working independently, and focusing on improving processes and finding value-added solutions</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, able to interact professionally with all levels, and willing to pitch in or work overtime during peak periods</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>CPA</li> <li>Experience with Workday Finance</li> <li>Financial services industry experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <p>The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $62,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus.
