Salesforce Professional Services is looking for a Senior Technical Architect / Technical Architect Director. You will be serving as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to the company's largest, mSalesforce Professional Services is looking for experienced Technical Architects to serve as strategic advisors and Salesforce platform experts for our largest, most complex enterprise customers. This posting spans both Senior Technical Architect and Technical Architect Director levels - we'll match you to the right level based on your experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted, strategic advisor and Salesforce platform expert to C-level stakeholders at high-profile enterprise clients

• Architect multi-cloud technology solutions across application, data, integration, and security domains to meet client needs

• Guide and lead cross-functional teams of architects and developers; for Director-level, direct people management of technical teams

• Facilitate executive workshops, drive program governance, and manage partner/customer negotiations

• Identify and proactively manage risk areas, seeing issues through to resolution

• Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions maintainable

• Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and adopting emerging technologies that drive business value

• Lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice; contribute to the community's knowledge base and thought leadership

Minimum Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience (10+ years for Director level)

• 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects (Director level: 2-5 years of direct people management additionally required)

• Strong application design skills combined with data, integration, and security architecture expertise

• Strong presentation and communication skills - able to present and defend a point of view to varied audiences, including C-level

• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration

• Agile methodology fluency and a collaborative, high-integrity leadership style

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience)

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credential, or active progress toward it, or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications

• Strong Enterprise Architecture background

• Experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Agentforce for Developers)

• Experience leading a technical team or workstream, with a passion for mentoring talent

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior technology leaders

• Experience in Consumer Goods Cloud, Retail Execution/Trade Promotion Management, or the Consumer Goods industry is a plus

• Travel may be required depending on client needs
