Read this opportunity to learn how YOU can make a difference at ConnectWise!</strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p></div><p><strong>General Summary:</strong></p> <p>The Senior Software Test Engineer I is responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests from manual test scripts and test cases. This role works in partnership with the Engineering teams to provide support on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>• Provides support to the Quality Engineering teams, with a high attention to detail in a disciplined agile environment<br>• Researches, analyzes, and documents findings<br>• May influence others within the Engineering team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices<br>• Tests complex API, web, and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems<br>• Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release<br>• Designs, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback<br>• Derives testing requirements throughout the development cycle<br>• Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verifies fixes<br>• Assists in creation of software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports<br>• Plans test schedules and/or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates<br>• Reviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness and to mitigate risks<br>• Provides feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality<br>• Identifies program deviance from standards and suggests modifications to ensure compliance<br>• Develops and specifies standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness<br>• Conducts historical analyses of test results<br>• Collaborates with colleagues to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions</p> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Integration Testing Expertise: Proven track record of developing and maintaining robust integration test suites utilizing C# within the .NET Framework (v4.7.2+) ecosystem, leveraging the MSTest framework.</li> <li>UI Automation: Hands-on experience in designing and executing end-to-end automated UI tests using C# and Selenium WebDriver.</li> <li>CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps pipelines, including configuring triggers, defining build and test steps tailored for .NET Framework, managing pull requests (PRs), and troubleshooting test execution failures.</li> <li>Database Fundamentals: Foundational knowledge of relational databases with the ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for data verification.</li> <li>Cloud Infrastructure (Azure): Practical exposure to or experience working with Azure cloud services (preferred).</li> <li>Multi-Cloud Familiarity (AWS): Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure is considered a distinct advantage.</li> <li>Version Control: Basic understanding of Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative source control practices.</li> </ul> <p></p> <div> <h3><strong>Mandatory Skills :Programming & Automation</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong experience in <strong>C# programming</strong></li> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>.NET Framework (v4.7.2+)</strong></li> <li>Expertise in building <strong>integration test suites</strong></li> <li>Experience with <strong>MSTest framework</strong></li> <li>Solid experience in <strong>UI automation using Selenium WebDriver (C#)</strong></li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:</strong></p> <p>• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience<br>• 4+ years of relevant experience</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong><em>ConnectWise is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce…
