This is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing Clinical Intelligence team, where you’ll work on building impactful healthcare technologies that streamline and optimize the prior authorization process using AI/ML and Advanced Rules Engines.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to the functional & technical roadmap for the team, working alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact deterministic rules-based and AI-driven healthcare automation solutions.</li> <li>Actively support the technical design process, bringing your expertise and analysis to help make data-driven decisions</li> <li>Continuously discover, understand, and implement new technologies & services to maximize development efficiency</li> <li>Contribute heavily to feature design, development, testing, and delivery of our cloud platform and web applications</li> <li>Support all parts of our platform from the database to the frontend</li> <li>Drive daily engineering release once 2-4 times a month</li> <li>Perform production support duties 1-2 times a year. </li> </ul> <p><strong>What we looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have experience working on software development teams, building and deploying full stack web applications</li> <li>You are passionate about building quality products and want to own product development end-to-end, with excellent design and development standards</li> <li>You can collaborate closely with teammates in product and design to build applications providing healthcare practitioners with the highest quality user experience</li> <li>You have experience with common software development practices such as version control, unit testing, and CI/CD</li> <li>You are a team player and are interested in working at a fast-paced startup environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent experience in the field.</li> <li>Minimum of 6 - 8 years of <em>full time</em> experience in software development lifecycle, required Proficiency with Java/Groovy or Python</li> <li>Experience building applications using React and Javascript. TypeScript is a plus </li> <li>Familiarity with cloud development AWS/Azure</li> <li>Hands on experience leveraging test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or Cucumber is a plus, but not required</li> <li>Experience using relational (MySql, Postgres) and NoSQL (Dynamo, Elastic, Mongo) datastores along with data access patterns and strategies.</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership for the entire SDLC, including designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting production services in a fast-paced environment. </li> <li>Be self-starter requiring minimal direction with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements</li> <li>Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences is a plus, but is not required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-haves</strong></p> <ul> <li>Integrating AI/LLM-based systems into product workflows.</li> <li>Open source or community projects. </li> <li>Designing or implementing agent based systems or AI products involving autonomous or task-driven agents. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Interview Process*:</strong></p> <ol> <li>Connect with Talent Acquisition </li> <li>Meet with the Hiring Manager</li> <li>Behavioral Interview(s)</li> <li>Case Study</li> <li>Interview with Senior Leadership</li> </ol> <p>*Subject to change</p> <p><strong>About Cohere Health:</strong></p> <p>Cohere Health’s clinical intelligence platform and agentic AI-powered solutions connect health plans’ strategic goals and providers’ needs, optimizing the speed, cost, and quality of care.
