Shared success.</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p></div><p><strong>Position Overview: </strong><br>The Sr. Estimator’s role is crucial in securing work and building our business. Their understanding of rapidly changing conditions and relationships with area subcontractors ensures delivery of clear, concise bids tailored to the project and needs of our client. They set the operations team up for success and play a continuing role through construction.</p> <p><strong>Role & Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages the collection and analysis of data needed to estimate the time, materials, labor and cost required to construct a project</li> <li>Combine historical data and current trends to create and present accurate estimates</li> <li>Solicit the appropriate quantity of subcontractors in a timely manner, and know from experience how to choose the right subcontractors for the project (reference checking and networking).</li> <li>Review bid scope sheets, review subcontractor proposals for accuracy, and provide accurate quantity surveys</li> <li>Use Catamount’s “bid system” efficiently and correctly, and distribute addendums timely when necessary</li> <li>Hand off estimating projects to the Project Manager in a clear, precise, and timely manner</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hard Bid Estimating</li> <li>Attention to detail; everything from the estimates, units costs, bid scope sheets and proposals must be accurate</li> <li>Refined organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks for self, team, and projects</li> <li>Outstanding communication skills (listening, presenting, interpersonal and written)</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university</li> <li>5+ years related experience and/or training with a Commercial General Contractor preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>In addition to offering competitive base pay, Catamount employees are eligible for additional incentives for merit/performance, project incentives, new hire referrals, and business development commissions. </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Why You’ll Love Working Here</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="4" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1"><strong><span data-contrast="auto">A culture that develops leaders.</span></strong><span data-contrast="auto"> Grow alongside experienced mentors in an environment rooted in accountability, trust, and shared success. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="4"…
