As Botsync scales AMR demos across India and Southeast Asia, this Solution Engineer role owns everything between the demo fleet in Bengaluru and a live, working robot on a customer’s floor — commissioning, running, and troubleshooting demos that convert prospects into customers.

The roles and responsibilities:

• Partner with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and design customized automation solutions leveraging Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), fleet management software, and associated accessories.

• Develop technical solution proposals, including workflow designs, system architecture, deployment strategies, and ROI justifications.

• Conduct site assessments and operational studies to identify automation opportunities, bottlenecks, and process improvement areas within customer facilities.

• Build solution simulations, digital layouts, and proof-of-concept models to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of proposed AMR deployments.

• Analyze customer operational data, material flow, and warehouse/manufacturing processes to quantify productivity gains, cost savings, and return on investment (ROI).

• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to understand existing product capabilities, upcoming releases, and technical limitations, ensuring solutions align with product roadmaps.

• Design end-to-end solution architectures, including AMR fleet deployment, infrastructure requirements, network considerations, and software integrations.

• Prepare system architecture diagrams, IT integration workflows, API integration requirements, and data flow documentation for customer environments.

• Gather customer feedback and market insights to influence product enhancements and future solution development.

Requirements
Essential

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in robotics, industrial automation, system integration, field applications, commissioning, or a related technical field

• Hands-on experience commissioning or deploying mobile robots, AMRs, or similar automation hardware — network setup, mapping, and route/waypoint configuration

• Comfortable troubleshooting live, in unpredictable field conditions (connectivity issues, sensor interference, site-specific quirks) without escalating every issue

• Strong presentation and communication skills — able to explain technical systems clearly to non-technical audiences (plant managers, operations heads, safety teams)

• Willingness to travel extensively and work across multiple sites and countries on a recurring basis

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations teams, and writing clear, structured technical reports

Highly desirable

• Experience with fleet management, asset logistics, or spares/calibration tracking

• Familiarity with syncOS or comparable robot fleet orchestration software

• Prior experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or field applications engineering role
