If you’re ready to shape the future of fabrication, come build it with us.</p> <p><strong>The Job:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Performance regression detection.</strong> Per-PR and nightly measurement of the defined KPIs (startup, upload, print generation, crash rate) in CI, with alerting on regression. This is the enforcement mechanism for the PreForm performance initiative.</li> <li><strong>Systemtest re-architecture on the PreForm Local API.</strong> Rebuild the systemtest layer to drive end-to-end scenarios headlessly through PreForm Server, in alignment with the API team.</li> <li><strong>Customer-file corpus testing.</strong> Build and own a pipeline that runs large batches of real customer models through slicing and support generation and diffs results against baselines - catching regressions on the geometry customers actually print, at a scale manual testing cannot reach.</li> <li><strong>Crash intelligence.</strong> Own Sentry triage, trending, and root-cause attribution; build crash-reproduction harnesses so engineers fix rather than investigate.</li> <li><strong>Test infrastructure stewardship.</strong> Print regression baselines, CI flake, test runtimes, golden-file management - owned as a product instead of taxing feature engineers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>C++ proficiency.</strong> Able to write integration and system tests against PreForm internals and understand what they exercise (mesh operations, print file generation, slicing output). Not necessarily a geometry expert; not afraid of the codebase.</li> <li><strong>Python for tooling and harnesses.</strong> Corpus pipelines, API-driven test drivers, result diffing and reporting.</li> <li><strong>CI and automation depth.</strong> Jenkins, test parallelization, flake management, baseline/golden-file testing strategies.</li> <li><strong>Observability instinct.</strong> Sentry, Amplitude, crash and performance dashboards. Treats 'is this release healthy' as a data question.</li> <li><strong>Desktop application testing experience (strong plus).</strong> GUI automation on Windows/macOS (Squish or Qt Test-based harnesses)</li> <li><strong>Seniority: mid-to-senior IC.</strong> Senior enough to define the test strategy independently; hands-on enough to build it.
