👩‍💻 The role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our engineering team at Headout. You’ll work within one of our product pods, ensuring features are shipped with quality, reliability, and speed. This role is hands-on—you’ll write and execute test cases, build automation, and help troubleshoot production issues. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their career to learn, grow, and have a real impact on a global product.

💝 What Skills & Experience You Need

• 1–3 years of experience in automation testing for web, mobile, or backend systems.

• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured).

• Experience writing clean, modular test automation code.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Unix systems.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and OOP concepts.

• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.

• Good knowledge of Java.

✨ Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools.
