About this role

Job Summary
We are looking for Software Developers with hands-on REST API and authentication experience to support service providers integrating their applications with a national digital identity platform. Practical integration experience matters more than any specific programming language or framework.
Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and troubleshooting of digital identity integrations.

• Develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot REST API integrations.

• Work with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication flows.

• Validate integrations in staging and production environments.

• Investigate API connectivity, authentication, and integration issues.

• Document test results and track issues in JIRA.

• Coordinate with service providers and technical teams until issues are resolved.

• Support applicable security and compliance requirements.
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in software development, backend development, or API integration.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs.

• Practical experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows, not just theoretical knowledge.

• Experience with API testing and troubleshooting, including Postman, logs, and HTTP errors.

• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
Advantages

• Previous experience with UAE PASS or an equivalent national digital identity platform.

• Familiarity with SAML 2.0 and JIRA.

• Familiarity with digital identity services such as authentication, digital signatures, identity verification, eSeal, and digital vault APIs.
