The team is responsible for the tools and platforms that support hundreds of engineers across Cato's R&D organization on a daily basis, with a clear mandate: reduce friction and improve the day-to-day experience of every developer at Cato. This is deep infrastructure engineering with organization-wide impact, spanning ephemeral environment provisioning, source control and IDE tooling, build performance and distributed caching, CI/CD and release engineering, test infrastructure reliability, internal developer platforms, dependency management, developer onboarding, and observability into the development process itself.
