You are responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks, supporting unit turnovers, maintaining community spaces, and delivering prompt, friendly, and high‑quality service. </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general apartment upkeep. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Complete make‑ready tasks to ensure vacant units are clean, functional, and ready for new residents. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain overall property appearance, including daily ground upkeep and trash removal. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Respond to resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a focus on customer satisfaction. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with preventative maintenance and seasonal projects assigned. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Report safety hazards, recurring issues, or larger maintenance needs to your supervisor. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">1-2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work preferred. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">High school diploma or equivalent required. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic knowledge of household repairs and use of hand tools (or willingness to learn). </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong customer‑service skills and a professional attitude. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. </span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>About Cortland</strong></p> <p>Founded in 2005, Cortland is an international, vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment, development, and management firm with a resident-centric approach to living experiences.
