This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the Perforce environment through proactive management, advanced automation, and deep collaboration with software development and tools engineering teams. The Senior Systems Engineer balances complex operational requirements with long-term strategic projects, providing technical leadership and clear communication across multiple global teams to drive continuous infrastructure improvement.</p> <h3 data-path-to-node="6">Primary Responsibilities</h3> <ul data-path-to-node="7"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,0,0">Infrastructure Optimization: Maintain, monitor, and optimize Perforce Helix Core infrastructure to ensure high availability, peak performance, and enterprise-grade security.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,1,0">System Administration: Oversee complex server configurations, triggers, permissions, and multi-tool integrations to support global development workflows.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,2,0">Reliability & Data Integrity: Architect and implement industry best practices for system reliability, data integrity, comprehensive backup strategies, and disaster recovery protocols.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,3,0">Workflow Collaboration: Partner with development and tools engineering teams to design and refine synchronization strategies, repository organization, and CI/CD integration.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,4,0">Technical Support & Training: Act as the subject matter expert providing high-level support, troubleshooting, and specialized training for development teams utilizing Perforce.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,5,0">Documentation: Develop and maintain sophisticated documentation regarding system architecture, operational procedures, and evolving technical processes.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,6,0">Performance Management: Proactively monitor system resource utilization and performance metrics to identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks before they impact production.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,7,0">Automation & IaC: Drive efficiency by automating routine administrative tasks and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) repositories for version control environments.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="8">Core Competencies</h3> <ul data-path-to-node="9"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="9,0,0">Technical Leadership: Serves as a primary technical resource for source control, influencing best practices across the DevTools function.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="9,1,0">Collaboration: Effectively partners with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with studio-specific development needs.</p> </li> <li> <p…
